How do I get started?

You can reach out by submitting a contact request form located on the “contact us” page of this website. You can also call my office number which can be found on the “contact us” page and leave a message. I do my best to respond within 24-48 hours.

What happens during the first session?

During your first session, I will review the counseling policies and procedures, discuss any questions you have regarding those policies, and then spend the rest of the session learning more about who you are and how to best accomplish your goals for therapy.

What are your office hours?

My office is open by appointment only. I typically see clients Monday and Wednesday from 9am to 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm.

What if I need to use my insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. If you are needing to use your insurance, I can provide you with a superbill that you can then submit to your specific insurance company for possible reimbursement.

What is EMDR?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This is a highly effective trauma treatment modality which uses the brain's natural processing system to help clients process unresolved grief and trauma. For a more in depth description, you can visit www.emdria.org.
